One of my students got a ticket this weekend for yelling at another driver. He told that driver that his car was gay.
He thought that the cop was kidding about the ticket.
The cop was not kidding.
Deep down inside, this story made me really, really happy.

Sounds like there might be a different story than the student told - I'm pretty sure it's illegal for a cop to give a ticket for calling someone's car gay.

I think it has to do more with the yelliing than with what was yelled. I know you can get a ticket if you can hear your radio from x feet away. Could be the same deal.
