This is the number of days of school left this year.
Which is about all I can take, considering today a student stuck a paper clip in the power outlet and nearly caught the classroom on fire. And then told me he was just tying his shoe, and the outlet threw a spark at him for no apparent reason. Right.

I just have to say, I enjoy your blog. I don't remember how I found it. I am a teacher as well. My magic number is 20. My 6th graders have turned into obnoxious 7th graders who only care about passing notes and gossiping about who is dating. One boy even felt the need to tell me he lost his virginity last weekend. I wish I could trade you for your 9.
