Yesterday, the weather was like this:
Today, this is what it looked like outside:
We were supposed to have a track meet today. What a perfect day for a meet! Instead, they decided to move it to yesterday. Remember how yesterday it looked like this? And did you notice that that is hail and not just rain? (I did.)
So why did they change the met to yesterday, when today would have been perfectly pleasant?
Because they hate me, that's why.

but today you can spend time outside NOT at a track meet. Cause I'm sure that isn't your favorite thing to do on Friday afternoon.
They didn't really make them run in that, did they?
yup, everybody ran in that.
It was to help keep them all from getting heat stroke.
i had no idea people would actually run in that. i'm surprised parents didn't throw a hissy fit.
