Poodie -- I just saw your list of favorite books. Is The Alchemist the book by Paulo Coelho? It doesn't seem to fit with the intellectual caliber or the other novels.
yes, it's the alchemist by pauoo coelho. i made that book list about 4 years ago right after i had read it, so it was fresh in my mind, and i liked it. but it's not my favorite book.
now it would be east of eden, the power of one, the awakening, and a few others.
